2023 ഫെബ്രുവരി 25, 26 തീയതികളിൽ വളവന്നൂർ ബാഫഖി ആർട്സ് ആൻഡ് സയൻസ് കോളേജിൽ വെച്ച് നടന്ന പെൻക്വീൻ ഗേൾസ് ക്യാമ്പസ് കോളിൽ വെച്ച് പ്രശസ്ത സോഷ്യൽ വർക്കറും ഓൺട്രോപ്രെണറുമായ ഫാസില ഫാത്തിമ തമിഴ്നാട് പങ്കുവെച്ച അബ്സീനിയൻ സ്ത്രീയുടെ കഥ എന്നെ വല്ലാതെ ആകർഷിച്ചു. മൊത്തത്തിൽ പിടികിട്ടിയെങ്കിലും ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷയിൽ സംസാരിച്ചതിനാൽ മനസ്സിലാകാത്ത വരികളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

ക്യാമ്പ് അവസാനിച്ചെങ്കിലും പ്രസ്തുത ചരിത്രസംഭവം തേടി ഞാൻ യാത്ര തുടർന്നു. ശ്രമം വിഫലം.

മാർച്ച്‌ ഒന്ന്!

ബാഫഖി ഇസ്‌ലാമിക് ആൻഡ് ആർട്സ് കോളേജിൽ അഞ്ചു വർഷക്കാലം കൂടെ കഴിഞ്ഞവരിലേക്ക് അന്വേഷണം നീണ്ടു. പലരും ഗൂഗിളിലും മറ്റും തിരഞ്ഞു.

അൽഹംദുലില്ലാഹ്! വിജയം കണ്ടു. പ്രിയ കൂട്ടുകാരി ഫാത്തിമ ഫഹ്‌മിയാണ് അറിയിച്ചു തന്നത്. വളരെയധികം സന്തോഷമായി. അല്ലാഹുവേ എല്ലാവർക്കും അർഹമായ പ്രതിഫലം നൽകണേ ആമീൻ.

പ്രസ്തുത ചരിത്രം താഴെ ചേർക്കുന്നു, ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും അറബിയിലും. തീർച്ചയായും വായിക്കേണ്ടത് തന്നെ!

There's this Abyssinian woman cleaning the Prophet's masjid and she's reciting a poetic verse:

<<The day of scarf was one of the wonders of my Lord ~

It was the day when HE saves me from disbelief>>

Mother Aisha heard her recite this several times. Mother Aisha thought that it was a traditional or cultural song that this woman was reciting because it didn't have any apparent meaning.

So, one day Mother Aisha went to her and asked her about the backstory of this verse. The woman replied that, before coming to Madina she was slave girl of some Arab. Her master had a daughter whom he immensely loved.

Rich women of that time wore a peculiar scarf which was studded with brocade & gold. As it happened, her master's daughter also had a similar Red scarf.

One day while she's watching the daughter sleep in garden, a falcon flew away with the scarf mistaking the scarf for meat.

She told the truth, that a bird came and took the girl's scarf but nobody believed her. Everyone thought that she's lying.They accused her of stealing and began to search her.

She's standing there pleading innocence while being searched. She's trembling and shaking due to harassment. But nobody is believing her, now they started to hit her.

Just then, out of nowhere the bird comes back and drops the scarf. The slave girl now started to shout at them for humiliating her while she was innocent all the time. Being ashamed of what they did, they freed her!

But she's got no family, no friends, and she's been a slave all her life where would she go? She had heard that there's a new Master in Madina who freed slaves and made them his companion.

So she goes to Madina, to meet her new Master- our Prophet.

Prophet realised that she's got nowhere to go, nobody to rely on so he let her stay in the masjid itself. A small home was built for her inside the masjid.

Prophet knew that she's no ordinary woman, after all the bird had been sent back by Allah to vindicate her.

And out of all the places in the world, Allah made her to stay at his own house! That was how the incident of scarf saved her from darkness and brought her towards light.

Her entire life was pushing her towards the moment where she would meet the Prophet and stay at his masjid.

One day Prophet didn't find her in the masjid, so he asked for her. Sahaba replied that last night, she suddenly passed away and since it was odd time of the night so nobody told the Prophet about her.

Hearing this Prophet became angry and disappointed. Prophet asked them to take him to her grave. Prophet pbuh prayed her Jinaza for the second time.

An Abyssinian slave receiving so much respect and love from our Prophet, indeed the day of scarf was one of the wonders of her Lord.

The accusation and interrogation must have felt bad to her but it was only to let her be free. Similarly, the pangs of present might feel harsh but it's only pushing you towards your destiny.

هناك هذه المرأة الحبشية تنظف المسجد النبوي وتقرأ آية شعرية:

 يوم الوشاح كان من عجائب ربي ~

كان اليوم الذي ينقذني من الكفر

سمعتها الأم عائشة تتلو هذا عدة مرات. اعتقدت الأم عائشة أنها أغنية تقليدية أو ثقافية كانت هذه المرأة تتلوها لأنها لا تحمل أي معنى واضح.

فذهبت إليها الأم عائشة ذات يوم وسألتها عن خلفية هذه الآية. أجابت المرأة أنها قبل أن تأتي إلى المدينة كانت أمة لبعض العرب. كان لسيدها ابنة أحبها كثيرًا.

كانت النساء الغنيات في ذلك الوقت يرتدين وشاحاً خاصاً مرصع بالديباج والذهب. كما حدث ، كان لابنة سيدها أيضًا وشاحًا أحمر مشابهًا. ذات يوم بينما كانت تراقب ابنتها تنام في الحديقة ، طار صقر بعيدًا وهو يخطئ في الوشاح على أنه لحم.

عندما استيقظت الفتاة وبحثت عن وشاحها ، لم يكن موجودًا في أي مكان. اتصلت بوالدها وبدأوا جميعًا في استجواب الفتاة.

قالت الحقيقة ، أن طائرا جاء وأخذ منديل الفتاة ولكن لم يصدقها أحد. اعتقد الجميع أنها تكذب ، واتهموها بالسرقة وبدأوا في تفتيشها.

إنها تقف هناك تطلب البراءة أثناء تفتيشها. إنها ترتجف وترتجف بسبب المضايقات. لكن لا أحد يصدقها ، الآن بدأوا في ضربها.

عندها فقط ، من العدم يعود الطائر ويسقط الوشاح. بدأت الفتاة الآن في الصراخ عليهم لإهانتهم وهي بريئة طوال الوقت. خجلوا مما فعلوه ، أطلقوا سراحها!

لكن ليس لديها عائلة ، ولا أصدقاء ، وكانت عبدة طوال حياتها ، فأين ستذهب؟ كانت قد سمعت أن هناك سيدًا جديدًا بالمدينة المنورة قام بتحرير العبيد وجعلهم رفيقه. فتذهب إلى المدينة لمقابلة سيدها الجديد - نبينا.

أدرك النبي أنه ليس لديها مكان تذهب إليه ، ولا يعتمد عليه أحد ، لذلك تركها في المسجد نفسه. تم بناء منزل صغير لها داخل المسجد. علم النبي أنها ليست امرأة عادية ، بعد أن أعاد الله الطائر ليبرئها.

ومن جميع الأماكن في العالم أقامها الله في بيته! هكذا أنقذتها حادثة الوشاح من الظلام ووجهتها نحو النور.

كانت حياتها كلها تدفعها نحو اللحظة التي ستلتقي فيها بالنبي وتبقى في مسجده.

ذات يوم لم يجدها النبي في المسجد فطلبها. ردت الصحابة أنها توفيت الليلة الماضية فجأة وبما أن ذلك كان وقتًا غريبًا من الليل لذلك لم يخبر أحد النبي عنها.

غضب سماع هذا النبي وخيبة أمله. طلب النبي منهم أن يأخذوه إلى قبرها. صلى عليها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم جنازة للمرة الثانية.

عبدة حبشية تلقت الكثير من الاحترام والمحبة من نبينا ، في الواقع كان يوم الوشاح من عجائب ربها.

 لا بد أن الاتهام والاستجواب قد شعروا بالسوء تجاهها ولكن لم يكن ذلك إلا للسماح لها بالحرية. وبالمثل ، قد تبدو آلام الحاضر قاسية ولكنها تدفعك نحو مصيرك فقط
